  • Scripting or automation experience with Python, Google Apps Script, Shell/Bash, Make, Zapier, APIs, or similar tools is beneficial.

  • Applicants should be comfortable with an initial one-year full-time term, with the possibility of extension or transition to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
  • Applicants should be comfortable troubleshooting physical office networking equipment and setting up door access or VoIP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a patient, welcoming first point of contact for staff experiencing laptop, screen, software, or account-access issues.
  • Troubleshoot office and property network connections, including routers, switches, patch cables, and PoE devices such as access points, cameras, and desk phones.
  • Administer door access controls by issuing keycards or fobs, troubleshooting readers, and updating access schedules across properties.
  • Support printers and scanners, digitize paper archives, and implement OCR scanning workflows.
  • Set up and remove staff accounts, and review permissions in Google Workspace and 1Password.
  • Manage 3CX extensions and call queues, and maintain accurate inventories of devices, software, and hardware.
  • Create practical scripts using tools such as Google Apps Script, Python, or Shell to automate repetitive tasks and connect applications through APIs.
  • Maintain the staff intranet, internal knowledge wikis, and staff web tools; help deploy and manage lightweight tools on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Help replace fragile spreadsheets with structured cloud tools and automated dashboards, and assess practical AI tools that reduce administrative work.
  • Coach colleagues through technology and improved digital workflows, and write clear guides, checklists, and quick-start documentation.
  • Promote good password practices, organized file naming, and proactive cybersecurity habits across departments.
