We are a warm family in SW Calgary (near Aspen Woods) seeking a caring, reliable nanny for our infant. Fluent Czech speaker would be a bonus (for bilingual childcare duties) Position Details: --Negotiable part-time schedule (approx 20-24 hours/week, flexible schedule) --Live-out position --Negotiable days and times. Occasional Sat. or Sun. appreciated --Wage rate negotiable based on skill, experience, and job scope, $18-$26 --2 weeks paid vacation (4% of gross wages paid each payroll). After 30 workdays, paid Alberta general holidays --Located in SW Calgary near Aspen Woods (accessible via bus) --Start date: Flexible Required Qualifications: --Experience caring for infants --Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check (or willing to obtain) --Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain) --Infant CPR & First Aid certification (or willing to obtain) --Strong childcare references Responsibilities: --Providing attentive care for our 11 month old infant --Light housekeeping mostly related to baby care (nursery tidying, dishwasher, laundry, meal preparation) --Playing with our baby, talking to her, taking her for walks, feeding her healthy food, reading stories, naps, supervising her to keep her safe, and similar childcare duties. Because this role involves caring for an infant, we would value candidates that are up to date on immunizations recommended for childcare workers in the Canadian Immunization Guide (including measles (MMR), whooping cough (Tdap), flu, and chickenpox) We're looking for someone nurturing, safety-conscious, and experienced working with young children who can provide excellent care.
