Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (10+ years) to build and maintain automated API/integration test suites using Playwright, Postman, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile QE practices- /

This role supports a Unified Advisor Experience initiative focused on electronic tracking (eTrack) and electronic documents (eDocs) across advisor-facing applications. The position delivers automated API and integration testing validating application lifecycle status, client statements, tax documents, and integrations between Salesforce, Alfresco, and advisor portal front-end systems. The engagement includes end-to-end data validation, regression testing within CI/CD pipelines, and defect lifecycle management within Agile delivery squads.

Location: Hybrid/Toronto- 3 Days a Week On Site

Duration: 6 Months (Chance of Extenison)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Must Haves

  • 10+ years in Quality Engineering supporting automated API and integration testing
  • Playwright and Postman for end-to-end, UI, and API test automation
  • Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation frameworks and scripting
  • CI/CD pipelines with regression test design and PR-based workflow testing
  • Agile QE practices and defect lifecycle management

Nice to Have

  • Performance and load testing experience
  • Experience testing Salesforce or Alfresco integrations
  • Financial services or banking domain testing experience
  • JMeter for performance and load testing

Responsibilities

  • Build automated API and integration test suites supporting eTrack and eDocs initiatives
  • Maintain automated test coverage across advisor-facing application and document workflows
  • Validate integrations between Salesforce, Alfresco, and advisor portal front-end systems
  • Execute end-to-end data validation and metadata tagging verification
  • Perform entitlement and access-control testing across integrated platforms
  • Run regression testing within CI/CD-integrated automated test suites
  • Manage defects within Agile squad delivery processes alongside backend developers
