Our crown corporation client is seeking a Dynamics Developer ( 5+ years) to develop and maintain applications using Microsoft technologies including Azure, Dynamics , Power Platform, and SharePoint
Join a software development team supporting business-critical applications within a banking environment. This role focuses on developing new features, enhancing existing systems, and supporting modern web applications using Microsoft technologies including Azure, Dynamics , Power Platform, SharePoint, and Office . The position includes technical investigations, system enhancements, testing activities, and collaboration with business analysts and UX designers to deliver interactive solutions.
Initial 1-year contract in Ottawa, ON (% remote in EST Timezone). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and maintain existing application components using Microsoft technologies
- Analyze, design, and implement system enhancements based on business requirements
- Conduct technical investigations and root-cause analysis on application issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, procedures, and testing results
- Implement corrective actions to address identified technical issues
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency
- Collaborate with business analysts and UX designers to deliver interactive solutions
Must Haves
- 5+ years in Software Development within a Microsoft technology environment
- Azure, Dynamics , and Power Platform application development
- Web development using modern frameworks and Microsoft technologies
- Source control systems including advanced branching and merging strategies
- Post-secondary education in computer science, software development, or a related field
- Must hold a federal government secret level security clearance
Nice to Have
- Agile methodology experience or designation
- DevOps implementation experience
- Application security experience including certificate management
- Experience with AI-based tools including test automation solutions
- Experience resolving technical issues within a scrum team
