Poplar Grove Winery is seeking an individual to join our team as a “Warehouse Assistant”.

This is an entry-level, on-site, part-time / seasonal position with training provided.

Daily duties may include.

  • Picking / Packing Direct to consumer orders.
  • Re-stocking DTC Packing areas and remote warehouses.
  • Picking / Packing / Shipping Purchase Orders.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Recycling.
  • Custom labelling of product.
  • Picking / Packing Wine club shipments.
  • Working on our Production Bottling Line.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
  • Assisting with events.

Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset.

  • General Wine Knowledge.
  • Picking / Packing Orders.
  • Using Pallet Wrappers / Pallet Flippers.
  • Basic Logistics.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Use or familiarity with Resource Planning Software.

    • Please be advised that this position will entail the following daily.

  • Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
  • Heavy lifting.
  • Reading and writing in English.
  • Working Independently or as part of a team.

    • The “Musts”.

  • Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Own transportation.
  • Punctuality and Consistency.

    • Wages will reflect relative experience.
