Planner I — Shape Community Development

A progressive urban center is searching for a Planner I to join their team in Nanaimo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing development applications and ensuring compliance with city bylaws, as well as facilitating public engagement processes. This role requires a degree in urban planning or a related field and at least two years of municipal planning experience. Additionally, the Planner I will assist in preparing legal documents and support department services in a customer-focused manner. Competitive hourly wage is offered.
