Our client is in the consumer goods manufacturing industry in the Lower Mainland looking for a Maintenance Manager overseeing asset reliability, mechanical integrity, regulatory compliance, and equipment uptime across all production shifts, with a focus on proactive maintenance systems, effective delegation, and structured communication.

Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance operations to maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and mechanical integrity across all production shifts.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, work order scheduling, and asset records.
• Establish standardized shift handovers, escalation procedures, root-cause analyses, and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Quality Assurance, and Sanitation to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Develop and supervise lead technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring effective delegation, training, and autonomous off-shift operations.
• Maintain documented SOPs, troubleshooting guides, on-call rotations, and emergency response procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement, 5S practices, and a proactive reliability-focused maintenance culture.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing industrial maintenance operations, preferably in consumer goods processing, manufacturing, or high-speed production environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, developing, and delegating work to technical teams across multiple shifts.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, maintenance KPIs, work order management, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of spare parts inventory control, vendor management, and maintenance planning.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Salary range is open to discussion with total compensation in the 120-140,000+ range.
