BridgesPro Connect Inc. is a Canadian federally incorporated, for-profit social-impact technology company developing a professional networking platform for minority immigrants, newcomers, and underserved communities.
We are seeking an experienced Canadian Grant Writer and Funding Research Specialist to identify suitable Canadian federal, provincial, innovation, and private funding programs.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify relevant Canadian grants and non-dilutive funding opportunities.
- Verify eligibility for a for-profit technology startup.
- Identify funding for MVP development, UX/UI design, technology development, and pilot implementation.
- Prepare a shortlist of funding programs with eligibility requirements, deadlines, and application procedures.
- Provide professional grant proposal writing and application support under a separately agreed assignment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Canadian grant writing and funding research.
- Knowledge of British Columbia and federal startup funding programs.
- Experience supporting for-profit technology businesses.
- Ability to demonstrate relevant funding research or successful grant applications.
Initial assignment: Fixed-price funding research and eligibility assessment.
Budget: negotiable based on scope and experience.
