Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in enterprise application development, ERP/CRM platforms, system integration, and cloud-based solutions. The SME will provide technical leadership across application architecture, platform customization, API integration, database design, and DevOps practices. The role requires deep expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform, with the ability to support integrations involving MuleSoft, Oracle HCM/ERP, Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, and PeopleTools 8.61.09.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, development, modernization, and maintenance of complex ERP, CRM, and enterprise platform solutions.

  • Define technical standards, application architecture, integration patterns, and development practices across enterprise applications.

  • Provide advanced technical expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET/.NET Core, Java, JavaScript, and React-based solutions.

  • Lead the customization, extension, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform applications.

  • Design and govern Dataverse data models, relationships, security configurations, and integration strategies.

  • Architect secure and scalable REST APIs and web services connecting CRM, ERP, cloud, and third-party systems.

  • Design and oversee enterprise integrations using Microsoft Azure, MuleSoft, and relevant middleware technologies.

  • Provide technical leadership for integrations involving Oracle HCM/ERP, Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, and PeopleTools 8.61.09.

  • Lead database design, SQL optimization, data access strategy, and performance tuning across SQL Server, Azure SQL, and applicable relational or hierarchical databases.

  • Establish CI/CD standards, deployment strategies, automated validation, environment management, and release governance.

  • Evaluate technical options and recommend appropriate platforms, frameworks, and architectural approaches based on business requirements.

  • Lead complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and resolution of production-critical issues.

  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, technical assessments, and implementation risk evaluations.

  • Establish reusable components, integration standards, coding guidelines, and secure software development practices.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, product owners, security teams, and delivery leads to align technical solutions with enterprise objectives.

  • Mentor developers and technical teams, support knowledge transfer, and promote consistent engineering practices.

  • Develop technical roadmaps, architectural documentation, implementation plans, and recommendations for platform modernization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 9+ years of professional experience in software development, enterprise application engineering, or solution implementation.

  • Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET/.NET Core, with additional experience in Java or other object-oriented/3GL programming languages.

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise applications, APIs, web services, and complex system integrations.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD, cloud deployment strategies, and application lifecycle management.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Dataverse, or equivalent depth across the relevant enterprise platforms.

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, database design, query optimization, and relational database technologies, including SQL Server or Azure SQL.

  • Experience with JavaScript and React for front-end development and application integration.

  • Strong understanding of ERP/CRM architecture, enterprise data flows, security, scalability, and application modernization.

  • Experience with MuleSoft or comparable enterprise integration platforms.

  • Ability to provide technical direction for Oracle HCM/ERP, Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, and PeopleTools 8.61.09 integrations where required by the project.

  • Proven experience leading technical design reviews, establishing coding standards, resolving complex production issues, and mentoring developers.

  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide ERP/CRM implementations, platform migrations, or application modernization programs.

  • Advanced knowledge of Dynamics 365 integration patterns, Power Platform governance, Dataverse architecture, and Azure services.

  • Experience with Oracle HCM/ERP integration architecture and PeopleSoft application environments.

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, API management, identity and access management, and secure integration practices.

  • Experience establishing engineering governance, CI/CD standards, and technical roadmaps across multiple development teams.
