Fixtures Assembler – Manufacturing

Location: Dixie road and -Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: + % afternoon shift premium
Start Date: ASAP
Openings: 3 positions

Available Shifts

• Afternoon Shift (2 openings): Monday–Thursday, 4: PM–1: AM; Friday, 3: PM–: PM
• Day Shift (1 opening): Monday–Thursday, 7: AM–4: PM; Friday, 7: AM–3: PM

About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Mississauga, is seeking detail-oriented Fixtures Assemblers to join their production team. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on assembly and manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and components using assembly drawings and CAD schematics.
• Identify components and follow assembly specifications.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Inspect finished products and identify quality issues.
• Perform assembly rework when required.
• Complete production records accurately and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following health and safety procedures.
• Handle materials and lift up to lbs as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of light assembly experience.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in custom production.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings or CAD schematics.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Electrical fixture component manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
