Forklift Operator- Counterbalance

Staff Plus is hiring a Licensed Counter-Balance Forklift Operator to join our client in food manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse.

Shift: Flexible to work Day & Afternoon

Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials within the warehouse
• Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
• Load and unload products from trailers or containers
• Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

• Licensed Forklift operator, with experience in a food manufacturing is considered an asset
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving Counter-Balance forklift
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment safely
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems and warehouse management systems
• Mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
• Must have a clear criminal background history
