General Production Worker - Day Shift

Job Title: Production Worker - Day ShiftJob Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in the development of world-class power quality improvement products. With a focus on efficiency and precision, you will contribute to the creation of highly efficient harmonic filters, transformers, auto-transformers, and data center power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cut glastic materials to required specifications using shear press.
• Stack and organize steel components for Core Assemblers.
• Prepare and assemble production kits to support assembly operations.
• Transport materials to production areas and store incoming materials and inventory properly.
• Maintain accurate material organization and inventory control.
• Ensure assemblers have the required materials and components to support production flow.
• Perform general material handling duties, including lifting, moving, and staging materials.
• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with other warehouse or production duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of material handling experience.
• 1+ years of production work experience.
• Mechanical and electrical capabilities.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Core assembly experience.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility for both day and afternoon shifts. The afternoon shift runs from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM, with training provided during the day for 2-3 weeks. You will work in a small site with over 15 employees on the plant floor, where teamwork is essential. The facility is well-lit but may be a bit dusty. Candidates should be comfortable working in smaller environments and eager to learn the electrical aspects of the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
