Qualifications

:

  • A Masters degree* in psychology or related field. *Consideration will also be given to candidates completing the final year of their Masters who have more than 3 years experience implementing IBI with children and adolescents with ASD, have extensive report and skill acquisition program writing skills, and experience training staff in IBI.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) intervention approaches for the treatment of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

  • Proven assessment, direct service, clinical and program supervision skills.

  • At least 3 years of Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) experience.

  • Travel is required for this position, the successful candidate must have a valid Ontario drivers license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical.

  • Candidates Bilingual in English and French will be given special consideration.
