Salary: $50,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:
- Previous experience in IT support, technical support, or a similar role
- Experience in retail, multi-location, or customer-facing environments is an asset
- POS support experience is strongly preferred; Oracle Retail Xstore experience is an asset
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Basic experience with PowerShell and SQL
- Familiarity with endpoint and mobile device management and remote support tools
- Basic networking knowledge, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity
- Fortinet or firewall experience is an asset
- Experience using an IT ticketing or service-management system
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to explain technical issues to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Ability to prioritize requests, work independently, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Canada, including occasional overnight trips
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to our stores and Head Office, troubleshooting hardware, software, POS, access, and connectivity issues
- Support and maintain POS systems, computers, printers, payment terminals, mobile devices, and other store technology
- Set up technology for new store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures, including installing and deploying equipment
- Manage incidents and service requests through our ticketing system, including prioritization, documentation, escalation, and resolution
- Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account access and equipment setup
- Manage endpoint devices and assist with software updates, configurations, and deployments
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve issues and complete projects
- Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation
- Identify recurring issues and help improve IT processes and support
- Travel to our stores across Canada and provide occasional after-hours or weekend support as needed
