Nanny Wanted - Occasional Live In Nanny Needed For Wonderful School Aged Girl – Kingston

I’m a single mum in Kingston looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for my school-aged daughter, Hannah, when I travel for work. I typically travel about once a month, anywhere from a few days to around 10 days at a time. When I’m away, you would stay in our home with Hannah overnight and be her primary caregiver for the duration of my trip. On weekdays, care would include helping Hannah get ready in the morning, preparing and packing her lunch, taking her to school and picking her up, making dinner, and taking her to after-school activities as needed. On weekends, it would mean spending time with her and keeping her busy and entertained — outings, activities, playdates, or simply hanging out at home. Who this might suit: This could be a great fit for a responsible third- or fourth-year Queen’s student, graduate student, teacher/education student, or someone else with a flexible schedule. Because Hannah is at school during the day, you would have that time free for classes, studying or your own work, provided you’re available for school drop-off and pick-up. The role would particularly suit someone who likes the idea of occasional blocks of work rather than a regular weekly nanny schedule. Hannah is a happy, social and active kid, and I’m looking for someone kind, responsible and genuinely comfortable taking responsibility for a child independently for several days at a time. Most importantly, I want someone with whom she feels happy, safe and completely at ease while I’m away. I’m hoping to find one person who can get to know Hannah and become a familiar and trusted presence in her life. My travel schedule is usually known in advance, and I would share dates as early as possible. There may also be opportunities for occasional babysitting between trips.
