We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager in our British Columbia region. Reporting to the Operational Manager, the successful candidate will manage the overall operations of the BC Engineering team focused on delivering expertise on High Voltage, Medium Voltage, Industrial Power Systems, Generation and Automation projects, ensuring that we create superior client experiences and meet technical and operational standards. The Engineering Manager will be accountable for developing relationships with Industrial & Generation clients (Oil & Gas Production, Refining, Pipelines, Manufacturing, Energy Production, and Pulp & Paper).

Accountabilities

Business Objectives

• Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership to set objectives aligned with Magna’s overall goals for growth in expertise, services and volume
• Ensure the BC Engineering team meets and exceeds company objectives and goals
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of the annual operating budget
• Work with Operation Management to measure department performance as it relates to key performance indicators (revenue, margin, utilization, effectiveness)
• Promote a common understanding and commitment to department and project objectives
