Adecco is currently hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in Guelph, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in CNC machining, machine operation, quality inspection, blueprint reading, precision measurement, and manufacturing production.
As a Machine Operator, you will operate machines, inspect finished parts, maintain production standards, and support continuous quality and safety initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Location: Guelph, ON
Shift: Days 6:55 AM - 2:55 PM | Afternoons 2:55 PM - 10:55 PM

Responsibilities:
Machine Operation
Adjust machine offsets and change inserts once trained and authorized.
Meet or exceed production and quality standards.
Support additional manufacturing duties as required.
Quality Control & Inspection
Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
Use inspection sheets to verify finished products.
Identify non-conforming parts and report quality concerns.
Utilize precision measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers.
Safety & Teamwork
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Follow all company procedures and safety requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes is a strong asset.
Ability to read and follow verbal and written work instructions.
Experience using precision measuring instruments, including verniers and micrometers.
Ability to work within tight machining tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Manufacturing or machining experience preferred.
Ability to work safely in a production environment.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
