Job description:

Our ideal candidate has built an outstanding career in Industrial Sales, promoting engineered hardware products and solutions for unique applications, with demonstrated success selling into municipal projects and infrastructure-related opportunities. Of particular interest will be candidates who understand how purchasing decisions and product specifications are influenced within the municipal marketplace, whether successfully selling directly through private sector procurement channels and contractors serving municipal customers, and/or by developing and leveraging strong relationships with the consulting engineering firms that play an important role in evaluating solutions and driving product specification. The ability to identify projects early, influence specifications, build relationships with key consultants and project stakeholders, and ultimately convert these opportunities into profitable sales will be an important component of this role.

Any successes introducing new products with market-changing technology, particularly where gaining market acceptance requires educating consultants, contractors, municipalities and other project stakeholders on a new or differentiated solution, will immensely enhance your candidacy. As the Corporation's most senior representative in North America, key qualities such as independence, reliability, trustworthiness, and a sense of job ownership are even more important selection criteria. The ability to travel within North America is essential.

Qualifications:

• Successful Business, Division, or Business Unit General Management and Leadership experiences.
• Prior experience selling into US markets is a must.
