Senior Business Analyst – Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency

MatchBox is urgently seeking a Senior Business Analyst Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency for a 12 month contract role. This is a hybrid role (2 days on site and 3 remote) with our New Westminster public sector client.

Senior Business Analyst (Contractor) – Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program

Role: Provide senior business analysis support for a cybersecurity and IT resiliency program, working closely with the Program Manager and cross-functional teams. May also contribute to solution design, testing, training, and change management.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and document business problems, risks, and objectives
• Lead workshops/interviews to gather and analyze requirements
• Translate requirements into detailed functional/technical specifications
• Map current (as-is) and future (to-be) business processes
• Support project planning: WBS, RAID logs, status reporting
• Develop test strategy, test plans, and test scripts; support UAT
• Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Prepare change management materials and training content
• Lead or support training delivery for end-users and admins

Key Deliverables

• RAID logs, use cases/user stories, process maps
• Fit-gap analysis and RACI matrices
• Test planning and deployment support materials
• Change management and training documentation
• SOPs, operations guides, user manuals
• Meeting minutes and program status reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus formal business analysis training (or equivalent)
• 10+ years leading business analysis on large, complex system implementations (on-prem and SaaS)
• Strong SDLC and systems implementation background
• Understanding of data center, networking, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience conducting current-state assessments
• Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills
• Experience leading BA teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project
• Skilled at translating business needs into system requirements and process improvements
• Experience developing KPIs to measure process performance
