Assistant Manager - -Apparel & Footwear (Premium Brand)

Description

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and achieving store goals.

• Lead by example in delivering an engaging and memorable customer experience.

• Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve individual and store sales targets.

• Help create a positive, collaborative, and accountable store culture.

• Assist with onboarding, training, development, and ongoing performance feedback.

• Provide leadership coverage and oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.

• Maintain strong visual merchandising and presentation standards.

• Support inventory accuracy, replenishment, product availability, and loss prevention.

• Monitor sales results and KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.

• Build strong relationships with customers and help grow customer loyalty.

• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.

• Take an active, hands-on approach to supporting the overall success of the store.

Requirements

• Previous retail leadership experience within apparel, footwear, fashion, or specialty retail.

• Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring employees in a customer-facing environment.

• Strong sales orientation with an understanding of retail KPIs.

• Good knowledge of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-focused with a genuine interest in creating a great in-store experience.

• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

• Confident problem solver with sound judgement.

• Comfortable using POS systems and retail technology.

• Positive, energetic, and comfortable leading from the sales floor.

• Motivated to continue developing toward future store management opportunities.
