An established and growingmercial mechanical contractor is seeking a Senior Plumbing Foreman to lead mechanical construction projects across the Ottawa region. What You'll Be Doing:
- Leadmercial plumbing projects from start to finish
- Manage and mentor field crews while promoting a positive site culture
- Coordinate work with other trades including HVAC, electrical, and fire protection
- Monitor productivity, labour hours, schedules, and material usage
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, site instructions, and change notices
- Ensure projects arepleted safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while supporting extra work pricing
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues in the field
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Red Seal or Journeyman Plumber Certification
- 3+ years of experience leading crews as a Foreman, Supervisor, or similar position
- Strong knowledge ofmercial plumbing systems and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings
- Experience deliveringmercial, institutional, mixed-use, or multi-residential projects
- Proven leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities
