We deliver engineering for utility-scale solar plants, BESS, Wind Farma and high voltage substation. Detail power system study for substation, data center, BESS and solar plant.

The opportunity

• Use Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Bentley (MicroStation, Power InRoads) software to design and detail sites, roads, drainage systems, utilities as well as site grading and earthworks
• Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as InfoWorks, Hydraflow, PCSWMM and EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary and potable water systems
• Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements
• Coordinate with other teams to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes
• Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process
• Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery
• Engage with project collaborators and clients to develop designs that meets needs and concerns
• Support development of technical documentation including reports, presentations, memos, calculation packages, and specification

Is this role right for you?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant engineering degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAD software
• Professional demeanor
• Good interpersonal skills needed for team-based working
• Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to address new challenges
• Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future

• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role

• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts

Toronto and Calgary Hiring Range – Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Calgary is $72,250 to $74,250 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Calgary or Toronto will differ.
