Our client is seeking an Intermediate Infrastructure Analyst to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and reliability of an established IT infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on operational role working across Microsoft technologies, servers, network and security infrastructure, user access and data recovery.

The client requires candidate to be downtown Calgary 5 days in office. This is 6 month contract to start with strong potential for renewal.

Must Have:

• 4+ years of experience as an Infrastructure analyst supporting day-to-day operational environment, including managing an operational support queue.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft , Azure AD/Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory, including user, group and access administration.
• Experience managing user onboarding, offboarding, permissions and access across enterprise systems.
• Experience providing Tier 3 infrastructure support, including resolving escalations from a Service Desk or Deskside team.
• Experience administering access to business-critical, highly controlled or audited enterprise applications, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A practical troubleshooting approach and the ability to work across different areas of infrastructure support, knowing when to resolve an issue independently and when to escalate.
• Experience working in Energy, Pipeline or regulated enterprise environment.

• Experience with Cisco network infrastructure.
• Experience with Palo Alto network security technologies.
• Experience with OneDrive and Microsoft administration.
• Experience with Windows Server builds and administration.
• Experience with data backup, restoration and recovery.
• Experience supporting Vista or similar business applications.
• Experience with infrastructure-related audit controls, access reviews or compliance requirements.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation, procedures or operational runbooks.

What You Will Do

• Manage and resolve requests through the day-to-day operational support queue, including escalations from Deskside.
• Administer user onboarding, offboarding, accounts, groups, permissions and access.
• Support Microsoft , Azure AD/Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
• Support Exchange, Teams, Conditional Access and MFA.
• Administer access for Vista, a business-critical and highly audited application, following established access controls and approval processes.
• Perform Microsoft Purview searches, data gathering and exporting as required.
• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and resolution for escalated user and infrastructure issues.
• Use PowerShell and scripting to support administration, automation and operational efficiency.
• Support server, network and security infrastructure issues as required, including Cisco and Palo Alto environments.
• Maintain documentation and follow established security, access and audit controls.
