Our public sector client is seeking a Senior UX Designer to design and test future-state architecture and user experience for a Jira Service Management portal
Join a short-term engagement focused on shaping the future-state experience for a growing Jira Service Management portal environment. This role will support portal architecture, navigation, service catalogue design, and usability validation as additional internal services are onboarded into Jira. The engagement is expected to run for approximately two months with the possibility of extension as the portal evolves.
Must Haves
- 10+ years in UX Design, Service Design, or related roles
- Information architecture, service navigation, and self-service portal design
- Jira Service Management portal design and future-state user experience work
Nice to Have
- Content strategy experience
- Usability testing and validation with staff
- Experience designing service grouping, categorization, and naming structures
Responsibilities
- Design the future-state architecture and user experience for the Jira Service Management portal
- Create the portal architecture and navigation structure
- Develop service grouping, categorization, and naming from the end-user perspective
- Provide recommendations for service categories, Jira spaces, and knowledge content
- Produce a future-state portal layout and navigation prototype
- Conduct light usability testing and validation with staff
- Refine the design based on feedback
