Equipment Operator – Casual, On-Call, Seasonal

Securiguard is looking for motivated and safety-minded individuals to join our team as Equipment Operators in a casual, on-call capacity at a high-profile industrial client site in Kitimat, BC during the fall and winter season.This is a hands-on role that requires individuals to be comfortable operating heavy equipment as well as performing manual snow clearing and general labour duties as required.Hours: Casual on-call, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysWage: $75.06/hour**Blended hourly rate including applicable overtime and vacation/benefit pay in lieu.Important RequirementsMust live in Kitimat or the surrounding area and be able to reliably report to site as requiredNo paid travel time is provided for travel to or from the client siteValid Class 5 BC Driver's LicenceCurrent driver's abstract requiredMust be available to work on an on-call basis, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysCamp accommodation is not providedWho Are We Looking For?We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators who are committed to working safely and efficiently in challenging winter conditions. Successful candidates will be comfortable operating equipment such as snowplows, loaders, and excavators, while also performing manual snow clearing and other physical labour as required.What You BringExperience operating heavy equipment, including snowplows, loaders, and/or excavatorsExperience with manual snow clearing and physical labourStrong understanding of health and safety practicesAbility to work safely in all weather conditionsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve under pressureStrong communication and teamwork skillsPhysical ability to perform manual snow clearing and labour-intensive dutiesCandidates who have some, but not all, of the above experience or training are encouraged to apply.
