Salesforce Product Owner

Our client, is seeking an experienced, highly strategic Salesforce Product Owner (Sr. Product Owner - Digital Transformation) to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of modern digital solutions.

In this high-visibility, hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between executive business stakeholders and Agile engineering teams to build data-driven tools, modernize legacy contract and receiving systems, and streamline commercial workflows. You will serve as the primary product authority across a broad ecosystem of Salesforce product offerings, managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and driving end-to-end delivery using user-centered design and modern Agile practices. The ideal candidate pairs deep technical familiarity with Salesforce solutions with proven experience coaching teams and leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.

Position Type: 12-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site at the corporate office; flexible based on project needs)

Responsibilities
Vision & Roadmap Ownership: Partner with regional and global business leaders to co-create, prioritize, and execute multi-year product roadmaps that replace legacy systems with modern, data-driven applications.

Backlog Management: Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog in JIRA, balancing business priorities, technical dependencies, and user feedback.

User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Translate high-level business vision and user pain points into clearly defined user stories, detailed acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.

Technology Delivery & Stakeholder Alignment
Agile Leadership: Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, collaborating closely with Scrum Masters, developers, QA engineers, and Data/AI teams to ensure iterative value delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central liaison between executive leaders, plant/operational teams, and technical delivery squads to drive product adoption and alignment.

User-Centered Design (UX/UI): Champion a UX-centric approach to product development, gathering continuous feedback from end-users to optimize usability and adoption.

Change Management & Post-Launch Oversight: Identify change management impacts, monitor post-launch performance metrics/KPIs, and proactively resolve blockers, risks, and issues.



Qualifications
Product Owner Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Salesforce Ecosystem Mastery: Deep, broad technical knowledge across a wide array of Salesforce product offerings, custom application delivery frameworks (e.g., OutSystems), and system APIs/integrations.

Agile Tooling & Frameworks: Hands-on mastery of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and deep proficiency using JIRA and Confluence.

Global Team & Vendor Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional development teams, mentor junior talent, and manage complex projects in a global enterprise environment.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Formal Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified PM/PO) or formal Agile credentials (e.g., CSPO, SAFe POPM).

Prior experience delivering digital products or supply chain solutions within Agriculture, AgTech, CPG, Food Manufacturing, or Industrial Operations.

Exposure to SAP integrations, cloud platforms, and data/AI-driven analytics tools.
