Sr. Program Manager - Enterprise Application

Our client, s seeking an experienced, highly technical Sr. Program Manager - Enterprise Application (Technical Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA) to lead critical enterprise application modernizations.

In this high-visibility leadership role, you will drive the technical strategy, execution, and cutover management for large-scale SAP initiatives, primarily focusing on SAP S/4HANA migrations, module implementations, and platform integrations. Serving as the linchpin between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, SAP Basis administrators, and third-party system integrators, you will oversee end-to-end technical delivery across high-volume supply chain and financial operations. You will orchestrate complex technical cutover plans, manage multi-tier SAP landscape strategies, and ensure data migration strategies into the SAP HANA database are executed with exceptional data integrity and performance.

Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Migration
Technical Delivery Management: Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of SAP S/4HANA initiatives, including brownfield migrations from SAP ECC, greenfield deployments, and regional rollouts.

Ecosystem Coordination: Manage technical complexities across ABAP development, Fiori UI/UX deployment, SAP Basis administration, and security teams.

Integration & Data Migration: Oversee the technical integration of SAP HANA with external enterprise applications via SAP BTP and middleware; drive data migration strategies to ensure legacy data ETL into the HANA DB maintains high integrity.

Project Execution & Cutover Orchestration
Lifecycle Governance: Own the project lifecycle using SAP Activate, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies to manage scope, schedule, resources, and budget.

Cutover Planning & Execution: Orchestrate complex technical cutover plans, mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and go-live deployment weekends to minimize operational disruption.

Environment Strategy & Testing: Manage the SAP landscape environment strategy to ensure parallel development and testing tracks run without collision; facilitate SIT, UAT, and Performance/Stress testing on the HANA DB.

Cross-Functional & Vendor Governance
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with business leaders across supply chain and logistics; manage third-party System Integrators (SIs), external hosting partners, and offshore development teams against SLAs and technical standards.



Qualifications
Technical Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical project/program management, overseeing large-scale enterprise software deployments.

SAP S/4HANA Hands-On PM Leadership: 3+ years of direct project management experience leading SAP HANA / S/4HANA implementations or complex ECC-to-HANA migrations.

SAP Lifecycle & Cutover Depth: Deep understanding of the SAP implementation lifecycle (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run), technical landscape architecture, data migration methodologies, and hypercare management.

Matrix Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional, matrixed teams consisting of SAP functional consultants, technical developers (ABAP/Fiori), Basis teams, and infrastructure engineers.

Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Professional certifications: PMP, SAP Activate Project Manager, or Agile/Scrum certifications.

Experience managing SAP workloads hosted on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Domain background in Healthcare IT, Wholesale Distribution, or Global Supply Chain Logistics.

Solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX compliance within an enterprise SAP environment.
