Senior Program Manager to assist with an Enterprise-wide Customer Information System / Billing

Our power & utilities client is seeking a Senior Program Manager to assist with an Enterprise-wide Customer Information System / Billing Transformation program (Oracle CCS) including vendor management and program governance

Edmonton Candidates preferred - Candidates will be working hybrid work model of in-office and WFH

Must Haves:

• 15+ years of experience as a Program Manager or Operations Lead leading large-scale IT transformation programs, operational transitions, and post-go-live stabilization activities
• Leadership experience in operational transformation, organizational change, or large-scale business operations
• Strong vendor management and governance experience across staffing, performance, deliverables, and costs
• Strong proficiency with Power BI, Excel, dashboards, and KPI reporting
• Previous experience in Utilities or Energy

Strong Nice to Haves:

• Utility billing, billing cycles, exceptions, and meter-to-cash processes
• Experience with CIS or utility customer-service platforms
• Experience working with regulated utilities
• Understanding of contact-centre, back-office, or shared-services technologies
• Familiarity with Meter Data Management, retailer interfaces, and customer-operations interfaces

Responsibilities

• Lead operational transformation, integration, and governance activities for the CIS transformation program
• Support deployment, stabilization, and adoption of the new CIS platform
• Triage operational upsets into operational impacts, actions, and executive decisions
• Coordinate activities across Customer Operations, Billing, Regulatory, Finance, Meter Data Management, vendors, and program teams
• Assess operational risks, metrics, escalation requirements, and resource needs
• Oversee vendor performance, staffing levels, delivery commitments, invoices, and contractual obligations
• Analyze operational data, trends, performance gaps, and stabilization measures
