Our transportation client is seeking a Sr Scrum Master (10+ years) to lead Agile software development delivery using Scrum and Agile processes
Join an integration-focused technology team supporting business continuity and delivery momentum during an extended leave coverage. This role supports multiple software development teams by facilitating Agile ceremonies, coordinating deliverables, managing dependencies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Scrum Master will help establish delivery standards, monitor team performance, and support consistent business value delivery across Integration Platforms and Integration Services teams.
Must Haves
- 10+ years within Agile Software Development teams, including extensive Scrum Master experience
- Deep expertise with Scrum techniques and artifacts including User Stories, Definition of Done, Automated Testing, and Backlog Refinement
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field
Nice to Have
- Certified Scrum Master
- Exposure to Agile delivery within data-focused teams including Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Products
- Understanding of data workflows, dependencies, and challenges within large-scale data platforms
Responsibilities
- Guide, coach, and mentor teams on Agile Scrum practices and processes
- Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Standups, and Retrospectives
- Oversee scope, timelines, quality, and deliverables supporting business goals
- Establish and implement quantitative and qualitative KPIs to measure performance and consistency
- Prepare and present reports on team output, progress, success, and learnings
- Collaborate with teams to support backlog grooming and new requests
- Identify and address delivery obstacles and support continuous improvement initiatives
