Our mining client is seeking a ERP Testing Specialist (10+ years) to lead ERP testing activities using SAP S/4HANA and SAP related systems
Join a large-scale ERP transformation program supporting enterprise-wide SAP deployments and integrations across multiple business functions. This role focuses on planning and executing testing activities for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur environments while coordinating with cross-functional technical and functional teams. The position supports testing initiatives across multiple geographies, including collaboration with LATAM teams. This is an initial 12-month contract with strong potential for extension based on program needs.
12 month Contract, high chance of extension Vancouver or Calgary, Hybrid, Working Hours: 37.5/week PST
Must Haves
- 10+ years in ERP testing roles collaborating with technical teams
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP modules including FI, MM, SD, and HR
- Expertise in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in computer or applied science, business, or related field
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Exposure to CloudALM, Tricentis, Azure Dev Ops, and ServiceNow
- Experience with test automation, performance testing, stress testing, and negative testing
- Understanding of security implications related to system configuration and compliance
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications
- Coordinate test environment setup and test data preparation
- Run system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing
- Coordinate testing and defect management activities using CloudALM, Tricentis, Azure Dev Ops, and ServiceNow
- Monitor testing progress and ensure timely delivery of testing outcomes
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business partners
- Conduct root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
