Our telecommunications client is seeking a IT Project Manager (10+ years) to lead complex IT projects using enterprise applications, systems integration, and cloud technologies
Join a technology-focused environment delivering complex IT initiatives across enterprise applications, systems integration, and cloud technologies within the telecommunications sector. This role leads end-to-end project delivery while coordinating business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership to support successful implementation and operational readiness. The position supports multiple concurrent projects with visibility across organizational priorities, governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Contract (4 days per week Onsite, 1 day remote)
Must Haves
- 10+ years managing IT projects across enterprise applications, systems integration, and cloud technologies in the telecommunications industry
- Agile project delivery methodologies
- Management of project budgets, schedules, vendors, contracts, and project financials
- Project delivery using Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence
Nice to Have
- Experience managing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
- PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, Agile certification, or equivalent certification
- Telecommunications industry project delivery
- Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS)
- Digital transformation initiatives
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through closure
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, technical teams, vendors, and leadership to define project scope and deliverables
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, applications, networking, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and external vendors
- Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder communications, status reviews, and executive reporting
- Support implementation planning, testing coordination, organizational change management, training, and transition to operational support
