A vocational training center in Kirkland
The Health Trades Vocational Training Centre trains the next generation in sought-after trades through modern facilities and quality support. The center maintains close ties with the job market. Contribute to a concrete mission that leads our learners to employment.
Responsibilities
Perform data entry of texts and various data to be presented in the form of letters, tables, and reports;
Receive and route telephone calls and provide general information;
Keep files and records up to date;
File documents and records;
Review mail and deliver it to recipients;
Draft acknowledgments, letters, or simple notes;
Make telephone communications for general information;
Participate in large-scale purchasing operations of articles and school supplies by performing transcription and verification tasks;
Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
Hold a diploma of vocational studies in secretarial work or a secondary school diploma or hold a diploma or certificate of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority;
Have knowledge of office automation;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software;
Pass the following CSSMB exams: Word basic and French;
Ability to work under pressure;
Strong sense of initiative and autonomy;
Strong customer service skills, ability to establish interpersonal relationships;
Marked interest in teamwork;
Demonstrate rigor, good judgment, and good organizational skills.
