Separator Operator

Tasks

• Operate and monitor centrifugal separators during production.
• Monitor production parameters and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Verify production parameters and complete the required follow-ups to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Collect samples and perform basic laboratory checks throughout the shift.
• Enter production data and maintain accurate operational records.
• Work closely with various departments during start-ups, product changeovers, and CIP cleaning cycles.
• Review and interpret CIP cycle data and complete any required follow-up.
• Perform basic troubleshooting as well as minor equipment disassembly and reassembly.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment in compliance with established standards.

Job requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in food processing, food production, or the dairy industry.
• Experience operating centrifugal separators is strongly preferred.
• Experience with food processing operations and production equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
• Experience with CIP systems is an asset.
• Comfortable working with computerized systems.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards is an asset.
• International work experience will be considered.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
