Production Assembly & Packaging Associate

We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Production Assembly & Packaging Associate to join a busy manufacturing team.

In this position, you will help prepare, assemble, package, and move finished products throughout the production process. The work is physical and repetitive at times, so this role is best suited for someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and keeping pace in a production environment.

You do not need extensive manufacturing experience to be successful in this role. A strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and comfort using basic tools are more important.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assembling product components using hand tools and air-powered tools
• Fastening parts using hardware such as nuts, bolts, and washers
• Preparing finished products for packaging and shipment
• Building and closing cardboard packaging using tape, staples, or other packaging materials
• Applying labels, decals, and other product markings accurately
• Stacking and organizing finished products on skids
• Moving materials and completed products throughout the work area
• Checking completed work to ensure products are assembled and packaged correctly
• Following production instructions and completing work within expected timelines
• Keeping your workstation organized and free of safety hazards
• Assisting with other general production duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Is comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift
• Can regularly lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Has good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Is comfortable working with basic hand tools
• Is willing to learn how to use pneumatic or air-powered tools
• Can follow both written and verbal instructions
• Can maintain a steady work pace while producing consistent results
• Works well independently and as part of a production team
• Is reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, packaging, warehousing, or general labour is helpful but not required.

• Standing and moving for most of the shift

• Performing repetitive assembly and packaging tasks throughout the workday

Work Setting

The position is based in a manufacturing environment where employees work around production equipment, tools, materials, and finished products.

Required personal protective equipment must be worn while working on the production floor in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
