Build a rewarding career while helping protect people, businesses, and communities with Securiguard.Requirements:1 year of security experience, w/ preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Gov't environment, and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcementEducation background in law enforcement, such as Police Foundation/Criminology/Protection Security and Investigation is an asset.Valid Ontario Security License & Valid Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AEDComfort with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV softwareApproaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathyAbility to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgmentPunctuality & Able to stand/patrol up for up to 12 hours.Strong ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code, and 494(c)Conflict resolution and de-escalation skillsAbility to conduct arrests within appropriate and sanctioned situations.Position Perks:Full Time/Part TimePay rate: $19.75 - $21.15Use of Force/Fundamental Tactical Security TrainingEmployee DiscountsWhether you're looking to start a new career in security or you're a seasoned security professional, we invite you to explore a future with Securiguard."Disclaimer:Our recruitment and selection process does not involve the use of artificial intelligence or automated decision-making systems.
