Our healthcare (non-profit) client is seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer (5+ years) to refine cloud infrastructure for a cloud maturity project
Join a Cloud Maturity project focused on advancing AWS infrastructure within a public sector environment. This role supports AWS infrastructure automation, AWS Landing Zone consolidation, and secure account migration initiatives using CloudFormation, CDK, and Python/Shell scripts. The position works closely with project team members to implement repeatable cloud solutions this fiscal year.
Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension (% Remote). 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Develop AWS infrastructure solutions
- Automate AWS infrastructure and operations using CloudFormation, CDK, and Python/Shell scripts
- Support AWS Landing Zone consolidation initiatives
- Implement secure solutions for AWS account migration
- Validate AWS account migration activities
- Collaborate with Cloud Maturity project team members
Must Haves
- 5+ years in AWS infrastructure, networking, security, and IAM
- CloudFormation, CDK, and Python/Shell scripting for AWS infrastructure automation
- AWS Landing Zone consolidation, account migration, and validation
Nice to Have
- Cloud Maturity project experience
