Park Paving Ltd. is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to join our Estimating & Business Development Department in Edmonton.
This is a new professional position created to strengthen departmental capacity, improve estimating processes, enhance information flow, and provide consistent coordination throughout the complete estimating lifecycle.
The role is designed for someone who is organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable managing information, systems, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced civil construction environment.
The Estimating Coordinator will work closely with the Manager, Estimating team, Operations, Contracts, suppliers, and subcontractors and will take ownership of several important departmental processes.
The Role
The position combines estimating coordination, proposal development, systems management, vendor engagement, reporting, technical estimating support, and project turnover coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and maintaining the company sourcing tracker and upcoming opportunities
- Reviewing tender platforms, client invitations, and market notifications
- Organizing drawings, specifications, addenda, and tender documentation
- Establishing and maintaining estimating files and supporting information
- Preparing and distributing supplier and subcontractor RFQs
- Tracking quotations and coordinating supplier and subcontractor follow-up
- Maintaining supplier, subcontractor, and prequalification information
- Supporting proposal and tender submission preparation
- Completing selected quantity take-offs and technical estimating support
- Assisting with drawing, scope, and specification reviews
- Supporting estimating-system inputs and bid preparation
- Coordinating annual supplier pricing and estimating-system updates
- Assisting with monthly estimating reporting and analysis
- Coordinating internal document routing and information flow
- Coordinating estimate-to-operations turnover documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement of estimating processes, systems, and information management

Experience with construction estimating systems is considered an asset but is not required.
Civil construction experience, drawing interpretation, or quantity take-off experience is also considered an asset.
