Class 1 Driver - Shunter

Tasks

• Safely move and handle trailers and roll-off containers throughout the yard and at loading docks;
• Operate a wheel loader to supply production lines, load and unload materials, and sort metals;
• Perform trailer coupling and uncoupling operations, lower trailer landing gear, and apply security seals;
• Maintain yard cleanliness and take photos of materials shipped to customers;
• Complete pre-trip inspections and report any equipment issues or irregularities;
• Work closely with the scale attendant, supervisors, and production team;
• Strictly follow all occupational health and safety regulations;
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements

• Mandatory hands-on experience operating a shunter truck and a wheel loader;
• Valid Class 1 driver's licence (strong asset);
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards;
