Part-Time Nanny / Home Management – Plateau Mont-Royal We are looking for a reliable, warm, organized and proactive person to join our family on a long-term basis, approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is a hybrid role combining time with Laurent and day-to-day home management. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, anticipating needs and helping the household run smoothly. Responsibilities include: * Spending time with Laurent and supporting his daily routine * Preparing simple meals and snacks * Laundry, folding and putting clothes away * Making beds and keeping bedrooms organized * Loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen tidy * General tidying and organization throughout the home * Light daily household maintenance as needed * Occasional groceries and errands * Managing household essentials such as diapers, toilet paper and cleaning products, and making sure they are replenished when needed * Organizing baby items and household supplies * Taking ownership of small day-to-day household needs * Proactively identifying what needs attention rather than waiting to be asked * Helping us keep the home organized, functional and running smoothly We already have a cleaning service for deeper cleaning, so this is not a traditional housekeeping position. The home-management component is more focused on organization, daily upkeep, errands, supplies and taking ownership of the small details that keep a household running well. When Laurent starts daycare in January, we would like the person to remain with our family and continue dividing their time between Laurent and home support, including potentially helping with daycare drop-offs or pick-ups as well as the household’s day-to-day needs. We are looking for someone who is dependable, resourceful, organized, comfortable taking initiative and interested in becoming a stable, long-term presence in our family.
