Job Description

Be Part of Magna’s Next Chapter

Magna Mining is growing, and we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support our senior leadership team and play an important role across our corporate activities.

This is more than a traditional administrative role. You’ll support executive priorities, investor relations, corporate events, travel, and key meetings — helping keep a lot of moving pieces organized and on track.

We’re looking for someone who is one step ahead, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to get things done with professionalism and discretion.

All Magna Mining team members are expected to work collaboratively with others, lead the way in health and safety, act with honesty and integrity, and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in pursuit of excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to members of the executive team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel, and expenses.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and ensure executives are prepared with required materials and information.
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, including PDAC activities and other internal and external events.
  • Facilitate and manage the Retail Investor VIP program.
  • Manage competing priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items on behalf of executives.
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other materials.
  • Assist with website maintenance.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
  • Coordinate executive travel and logistics for conferences, Board meetings, investor activities, and corporate events.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, site visits, and other investor-facing activities.
  • Coordinate invoices, vendors, and budgets related to investor relations activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentation materials as required.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Legal Administration, or a related field.
  • Bring 3+ years of progressive executive or senior administrative support experience.
  • Have experience within a publicly traded company, mining company, or other highly regulated business — considered an asset.
  • Bring exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Can work independently and stay composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Have experience with event planning and project coordination.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Are proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate confidently with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Bring a creative but organized approach to solving problems.
  • Demonstrate professional presence and sound judgment.

Benefits

What’s In It for You?

Magna offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, RRSP contribution opportunities, and access to employee and family assistance programs.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to the corporate, investor, and strategic activities behind a growing mining company.

Minimum Salary: $60,000
