Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage IT sourcing initiatives using RFx and technology procurement for our utilities client
Contract, Calgary, Working Hours: MST
Must Haves
- 5+ years of IT procurement and sourcing experience
- Independent delivery of competitive sourcing events from initiation through award
- Commercial negotiation and supplier management capabilities
- Work with IT, Cybersecurity, and Finance stakeholders on sourcing initiatives
- Strong understanding of SaaS, licensing, professional services, and technology contracting commercial models
Nice to Have
- IT software and telecommunications procurement exposure
- Ability to onboard quickly with minimal ramp-up
- Concurrent management of multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies for IT procurement initiatives
- Prepare and execute RFx events
- Conduct commercial evaluations
- Support commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Coordinate stakeholder and supplier engagement activities
- Support contract development and execution
- Manage sourcing initiatives from intake through award
