Position is part-time, live-in on weekends (7pm Friday night - 7am Monday morning). Seeking a patient, reliable care provider for an elderly Italian woman still residing in her own home. Client needs help with daily activities of living and can still walk independently with supervision/assistance. $25/hour with on-call wage during sleep hours. Main intersection: Jane Street & Maple Leaf Road. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Personal care & dressing - Cooking meals & clean-up - Household cleaning/laundry - Medication Adherence Applicants must be/have: - able to work in Canada (not willing to sponsor) - fluent in English (speaking Italian would be a big bonus) - a clear criminal background check (will be requested prior to hire) - detail-oriented and take initiative (i.e. notice what needs to be done without having to be asked) - CPR/First Aid training and experience with dementia clients is a plus References will be requested.
