About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client located just West of downtown Ottawa, we are seeking a professional Human Resources Manager to join a dynamic team reporting to the COO on a permanent basis.
Our client is a mid-sized, family-owned company looking to welcome a passionate HR professional to own all functions of HR.
The successful candidate will work five days a week in office and have access to free parking onsite, as well as a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Own and enhance HR policies
- Handle all HR inquiries
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities
- Drive full-cycle recruitment
- Create an exceptional onboarding experience, including orientation and training
- Administer benefits, including group insurance and RRSPs
- Lead internal compensation program, participating in salary surveys, and making annual compensation recommendations
- Support departments and leadership in developing and delivering strategic HR plans
- Address and investigate employee relations issues and ensure legislative compliance
- Advance employee engagement through various initiatives and staff events
- Participate in the Health & Safety committee
- Collaborate with department heads to create training programs
- Manage bi-weekly payroll processing within established guidelines
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar position
- CHRP / CHRL designation would be considered an asset
- Bilingualism in English and French is not required, but would be considered an asset
About the Job
This is a full-time permanent position offering $90,000 to $120,000 annually, dependent on experience. This position will require the successful candidate to work in office 5 days a week.
