This is a beginner to intermediate HSE role and will report directly to the Health & Safety Manager in Port Colborne, Ontario. As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will oversee assigned workplaces and ensure compliance with company and client safety requirements, as well as all government policies, procedures, acts and regulations in the area of occupational health and safety. You will also evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards and control risks in the workplace.
The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate leadership and drive a strong safety culture. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

The expected salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $70,000 per year. The starting salary will be determined based on several factors such as the successful candidate's qualifications, including but not limited to education, experience and mobility. Base pay is one component of Black & McDonald's total rewards package. Total rewards vary by position and may include additional offerings such as group insurance benefits, pension plan, annual discretionary bonus, career development programs, and other HR programs.
