Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Software (.NET) Developer (Reliability Clearance, 10+ years of experience) to support the maintenance and development of web portals using C# (ASP .NET Core) and PowerBI.
This role supports the enhancement and modernization of two applications focused on environmental data collection, monitoring, and ecosystem assessment initiatives. The position includes development of internal and external web portals, system data migration activities, and ongoing application maintenance using C# (ASP .NET Core), SQL Server/Azure Server, Power BI and Power Query. The applications support research initiatives related to climate change, pollution, and environmental stressors within a public sector environment.

Must Haves
- Experience as a Software Developer using C#, ASP .NET Core, and SQL Server
- 10+ years supporting Public Sector environments including Federal, Provincial, Municipal, or Crown organizations
- Valid Reliability Clearance
- Agile project experience
Nice to Have
- Central database and web user interface project experience
- 2+ years working within an Azure DevOps environment
Responsibilities
- Develop diagrammatic plans for business, scientific, and technical solutions using computer systems
- Analyze system requirements related to data transfer, processing, sorting, and output formatting
- Select and incorporate available software programs into application solutions
- Design detailed programs, flow charts, and diagrams for data processing operations
- Translate flow charts into coded machine instructions and collaborate with technical personnel on program planning
- Verify program accuracy and completeness through sample data preparation and system acceptance testing
- Correct program errors and document applications, specifications, flow charts, diagrams, and operating instructions
