The CFO will be a strategic partner, providing executive oversight for all financial functions, including finance, accounting, business and financial planning, treasury, tax, enterprise risk management, investor relations, and procurement. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's financial strategy, long-term sustainability, and overall business performance. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support growth, ensure sound governance, and provide financial leadership in evaluating and executing significant investment opportunities. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a graduate degree in a related discipline, a CPA designation, and a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role. Strong expertise in financial planning, treasury, capital management, and business performance is essential. The role requires a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, influencing senior leaders, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Experience in the energy, utility, or other capital-intensive sector is preferred, with knowledge of the regulated business environment and regulatory processes being an asset.
