Warehouse Associate

THE ROLE

:

We are currently seeking a General Labourer for our client in Etobicoke,ON for a temporary 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in sanitation, facility maintenance, general labour, or building upkeep.

The successful candidate will support a variety of sanitation and maintenance-related tasks throughout the facility while helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is comfortable performing physical work, assisting with facility improvements, moving materials, posting signage, and supporting general housekeeping initiatives as directed in Etobicoke,ON.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform sanitation and housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, hallways, common areas, and production support areas
• Move boxes, supplies, and materials as required
• Assist with facility organization and general maintenance projects
• Apply posters, signage, labels, and visual management materials throughout the facility
• Draw and maintain floor markings, safety lines, and designated work area indicators
• Support continuous improvement and workplace organization initiatives
• Assist with waste removal and disposal activities
• Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, maintenance, facilities, warehouse, or general labour experience preferred
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials as required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Must have CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear
• Reach truck/ Dockstocker experience would be an asset, but it is not mandatory.
