Warehouse Associate for a full-time temporary opportunity in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for a dependable and physically capable individual with warehouse experience who is comfortable handling cylinders, operating a forklift, maintaining inventory levels, and processing orders. Responsibilities- Load and unload cylinders from delivery trucks using appropriate carts and material-handling equipment.
- Safely move and organize cylinders throughout the warehouse.
- Order cylinders from designated filling plants based on inventory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate cylinder stock levels.
- Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate a forklift safely to move materials and inventory as required.
- Use computer systems to process orders, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain an organized and accurate warehouse inventory.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized.
- Follow all established warehouse procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required.
Requirements- Previous warehouse, material handling, or related experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and order-processing systems.
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, standing, and moving throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory and stock levels.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be eligible to work and reside in Canada.
