Crossroads Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced and detail driven Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk for one of our established clients in the Orillia area. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring timely processing of transactions. We are seeking candidates who excel in structured accounting environments and bring strong analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Process and review all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using accounting software
  • Enter invoices, payments, and receipts with a high level of accuracy
  • Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain precise and up to date financial records
  • Support general bookkeeping and accounting workflows as needed
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform account reconciliations and financial analysis effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Prior experience in a similar finance or accounting role is preferred
  • Experience with Winledge accounting software is strongly preferred
About the Opportunity
This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial health of our client’s organization. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate reliability, accuracy, and confidence working with accounting systems. Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Overtime offered after 80 hours in a two-week period
Bi-weekly pay
$20-$25/hr., depending on experience
