Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to identify business needs and deliver technology solutions using business analysis and technology planning
Join a high-visibility initiative supporting Liquid Pipelines business engagement and technology planning within a large operational environment. This role partners with business and Technology & Information Services stakeholders to analyze processes, define requirements, and support technology initiatives aligned to operational and strategic priorities. The position contributes to business modernization through process optimization, digital enablement, and continuous improvement across pipeline operations and related functions.

Must Haves
- 10+ years in business analysis, technology planning, and stakeholder engagement
- Business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements analysis and validation
- Process improvement, process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria development
- Technology solutions, solution design reviews, user acceptance, and implementation planning support
- Education not specified
Nice to Have
- Experience in pipeline operations, energy, transportation, utilities, or large-scale operational settings
- Knowledge of Liquid Pipelines operations, integrity management, engineering, commercial services, field operations, or asset management
- Professional certifications including CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, or Agile
- Consulting or professional services experience
Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational priorities, and technology needs
- Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for technology initiatives
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to identify process improvement and technology opportunities
- Analyze current-state processes, workflows, and systems to recommend improvements for efficiency, data quality, decision-making, and user experience
- Develop business cases, process maps, user stories, requirements documentation, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with solution architects, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align solutions with requirements and strategic objectives
- Support testing, user acceptance, and implementation planning for successful adoption
